I don't know why... but, I just feel like the Easter Bunny must have been extra tired this Easter.
What, with Tucker's birthday being the DAY before and all.
But alas, that bunny delivered.
And we had a wonderful Easter.
The boys had fun searching for their baskets in the basement this year, and I particularly enjoyed the carnage of the baskets taking place down there as well!
It took a good while to go through all the loot before church.
Later in the afternoon, we headed over to Grandma Jackie's house for some good old fashioned family time.
The only pic I got of my two cute Easter boys before they undid their cuteness in dirt + egg tossing.
After a fabulous dinner, we headed down by the pond.
Man, are we lucky to have that as our Easter locay?
Russ had his bassinet in tow, and he napped while we played baseball, egg hunted, and roller our eggs.
Our attempt to block him from all of nature's elements ended up turning him into a pscyodelic little nugget of yumminess in the wilderness.
Some of the crew.
Russ' First Easter.
Wait, do we call this egg ROLLING?
This is our egg THROWING tradition.
Sam and Tucker ate approximately 74 pounds of candy, each.
During their candy breaks, they were deep into their exploring shenanigans.
And Russell was just happy to be alive.
Jack's school class had their spring/Easter party a week after the fact, and I was lucky enough to get to help.
