Randoms

Some random picts for your enjoyment that just can't go unblogged.

Everyone has pictures of their kids in cemeteries like this on their phone, right?

This one deserves an explanation:

Jack came up the other night from the Lego room with this creation and told us it was none other than...
WALT DISNEY.
You know, the kryogenically frozen version.
L.O.L.
I love my little weirdos.

This is my view every time I walk down the hall, I swear. :)

And this view is my favorite.

We visited Lou's family's farm the other night to see the baby chicks and sheep.
Jack is getting more brave with the animals.
Tuck- still freaked.

Little snippet from soccer practice.  Tucker is actually playing this spring season! Woot woot!
*playing = not crying on the sideline.
He has no clue where the ball is 90% of the time, but I could care less.
Just happy he's out there!
Check out that cute coach in the background!

Russ 6 months

6 Months?!?!
Half a freaking year?!?!

How?
Why?

So cliche.
But, seriously.
WHERE IS THE TIME GOING???

From months 5 to 6, Russ has only continued to move more, interact more, and come even more to life!

I love this age!

He is a wiggler, and is so hard to hold!
He'll eat anything he can get his hands on, is still sleeping like a champ, still no teeth, but is sitting up all on his own!

I finally found something that Russell doesn't like... WIND!
Can you blame him?

Poor little tyke has had to endure his fair share of crappy windy weathered soccer games already this season for his brothers, and he's not exactly a fan.

My sitter.

Ok- it's official.
I have GOT to get some profesh picts taken of this cheeser STAT.

6 Month appointment stats:

15.98 pounds- 20 %
24.75 inches- 1.15%

*yep- you read that right, 1%. hahaha!
We call him Lieutenant Dan.

Dear Russell,
Please don't get old and turn into a little boy that says gross words and treats his mommy like a turd.
Thanks,
Mom.

Spring Break

Spring Break was sure a parrrrrtay!
Ok, maybe not.
But- it was a dream not to be held hostage by kindergarten/pre-school schedules for a week!

The beginning of the break was mama's birthday!

Man do we love this woman.
Couldn't last a minute- no a second- without her.

Tucker gave her a dollar.

When the official week of Spring Break began, I had my boys help me make a list of their hopes and dreams for the break.
This is what they came up with:

Considering the Griffin's flew the coup for the Bahamas... I was feeling like this was a pretty easy-to-please gig.

Trips to Target + Capes+ Shoes on the wrong feet = Spring Breakin!

We scooter/bike rode.

Hit up the Legacy Center for some swimming.

Looked at Russ' amazing goo face.

And.... visited the CEMETERY of all places.

Duh!

My kids are so weird.
And so strangely at home at the cemetery.
Are we looking at the future
Jones and Jones Mortuary owners, perhaps?

Jack even whispered "we're being watched" while we were looking at graves, and then skipped away happily.
FREAKY!

We went bowling with the Ross fam.

And ditched the kiddos one night to go and see Gary Clark, Jr.
My boyfriend.

We had a pretty bad viewing locay.

Dreamy.

To wrap up the week, we headed up to the cabin for the day to hang out with the Nelson bunch.
This included swimming in Kamas.

Oh my nerd alert.

Goggles- check!  Life jacket- check!
What other gear can we tack on here?

And, all the rest of the Spring Break minutes were pretty much filled  watching Star Wars- Episode 7 or in costumes in some way.  Or acting out Star Wars- Episode 7 in costumes.

Han Solo faces, of course.

Who needs the Bahamas, right?!?!?

Easter 2016

I don't know why... but, I just feel like the Easter Bunny must have been extra tired this Easter.
What, with Tucker's birthday being the DAY before and all.

But alas, that bunny delivered.

And we had a wonderful Easter.

The boys had fun searching for their baskets in the basement this year, and I particularly enjoyed the carnage of the baskets taking place down there as well!

It took a good while to go through all the loot before church.

Later in the afternoon, we headed over to Grandma Jackie's house for some good old fashioned family time.

The only pic I got of my two cute Easter boys before they undid their cuteness in dirt + egg tossing.

After a fabulous dinner, we headed down by the pond.
Man, are we lucky to have that as our Easter locay?

Russ had his bassinet in tow, and he napped while we played baseball, egg hunted, and roller our eggs.

Our attempt to block him from all of nature's elements ended up turning him into a pscyodelic little nugget of yumminess in the wilderness.

Some of the crew.

Russ' First Easter.

Wait, do we call this egg ROLLING?
This is our egg THROWING tradition.

Sam and Tucker ate approximately 74 pounds of candy, each.

During their candy breaks, they were deep into their exploring shenanigans.

And Russell was just happy to be alive.

Jack's school class had their spring/Easter party a week after the fact, and I was lucky enough to get to help.

He was a little stressed at this point:
