Easter was so much fun this year.
My boys are at ideal ages for holidays as they are getting into the spirit of things so much more, and actually understand what's going on.
The weekend leading up to Easter, we had quite the epic egg coloring experience.
Jack and Tucker were amazed by the process, and freaked out every single time an egg came out colored.
We had about 9,000 different cups of dye going.
Why hello, Tucker.
Who wants more eggs?
We only did 5 dozen!!!
And.... not so happy when the eggs are taken away:
Saturday, we spent the day traveling up to the new Jones family cabin!
This visit was pre-sale... so, we were just checking on it.. but, it was still a great time.
We found a perfect spot next to a church after for a picnic and Easter Egg Hunt.
(got a bit chillllly!)
Cutest trio.
Easter morning was a blast because the boys weren't even expecting anything.
When they found a note from the Easter Bunny to go upstairs to find a surprise... they weren't sure what to expect.
This loot was waiting for them.
The boys are getting to the ages now where the Easter Bunny just has to bring 2 of everything.
Such as these fantastic shades:
The rest of the day was spent at my parent's house, and it was a beautiful day.
It really is heaven at their house (minus the induced allergies), and we had a blast playing at the river, finding eggs, and participating in a rousing family baseball game.
I could NOT snap a decent photo of my boys all day.
This one from the back is the most successful I had all day. :(
