Another year down, and it was time to rally our support behind Team Hank and the JDRF Diabetes Walk for a Cure. Except this year, we had an extra motivation for walking.
It was just a few short days after last year's walk when MAX was diagnosed.
We joined together in massive support of Annie, Randy, and all of their boys and all that they go through for this year's new team, BLOOD BROTHERS.
The amount of stress, pain, worry, inconvenience, and uncertainty that they all deal with daily is hard to comprehend.
We all love them so much, and were so excited when we got our team shirts!
The walk was also a great success (thanks to Annie...madame chairwoman).
Also, to be noted-- we put our house up for sale THE DAY before.
Something we'd been thinking of doing for a long time- but somewhat quick and just to "see what happened"
We had a few showings that day, with 4 lined up for walk day.
We left for the walk with our house in impeccable showing shape.
At about 10 am, after we had finished walking, we got a call from our realtor telling us the house had an offer for MORE THAN WE ASKED.
Gulmp.
So anyway, the rest of the day was spent high fiving, crying, stressing, and being amused by this:
