Mid-March, we took a little weekend getaway down south to St. George with Tana and her fam.
It was a slightly chaotic time to get away, but it ended up being just perfect timing for a perfect family trip!
Things started great in Cedaaar City and the green ox... huh?
We stayed at Matt's parent's house there... which is ah-mazing!
Our boys had so much fun with their cousins just running wild. Matt and Tana really are the perfect family for us to do stuff with, because they have little boys too, and all of our activities have to cater to that.
We spent a lot of time just relaxing and letting the boys do their thing. We managed to sneak in a few activities along the way.
(Oh, and Brandon and DeEtte came spur of the moment for the day, which was an added bonus!)
We went *somewhere (ha! not even sure where) to do some off-roading in the Ranger.
We took turns riding/playing in the sand.
It was a beautiful day... and the perfect BOY activity.
At one time, pretty sure we had 6 adults and 8 kids packed in that poor ATV.
Totally safe.
Luckily. with all our weight, it could only drive about 2 MPH.
Another outing, we went and hiked a trail in Snow Canyon.
What a beautiful place.
The boys did great holding their own on the trail.
You should have seen other trailblazer's faces when they crossed our path.
You could practically see them all counting HOW MANY BOYS we had with us.
Yep, that's 6 under the age of 7!
Tuck was all "tuckered out" on the homestretch. This picture is a bit deceiving, seeing as I carried him for 30 minutes before it was taken!
It really was a great time. We're lucky to have Tana's family back in Utah... they love doing fun things, and have access to awesome things that we get to take advantage of with them!! There are few people my kids would rather hang out with than the Nelson boys!
