It's definitely December...and are my boys excited!
This is the first year that Jack has been totally amped up about Christmas and all that it entails.
Starting the day after Thanksgiving, he's been begging me to change the day of Christmas to "tomorrow."
Finally, we made a paper chain counting down the days so that he'd stop asking when Christmas was!
We had to buy Jack a Santa hat for Jack's school program, and he wasn't all that excited about it....
But, little brother was!
(what a mess! he had just finished a blue snow cone in our balmy December weather.)
This little brother was also in complete AWE over our Christmas tree. I put it up one night while the boys were asleep, and when Tuck saw it the next morning he was dumbfounded.
He's either marveling at its beauty OR making a master plan to destroy it.
Jack got to bring Little Bear home from school during the first week of December, and we had him help us write Jack's letter to Santa.
Dear Santa,
MERRY CHRISTMAS! I'm a very nice boy. I'm so excited for Christmas.
This year, I would like:
1. Ninja Turtles Legos
2. Zurg
3. Zurg Car
4. Zurg Gun
and some surprises!
THANK YOU SANTA! I love you!
Love,
Jack
*note: all items on Jack's list are rare collectors items (of course)...these puppies will not be found by Santa at a local store.
We also took Little Bear with us and the whole Wankier clan to the Polar Express.
It's the same place that did the Nightmare Express at Halloween...and Jack was almost as excited about it.
December 1st... he meets Santa and plants the seeds for all he wanted for Christmas.
He gave Santa his letter in person.
Tucker wanted nothing to do with him...
until he saw candy.
It was a great way to start of the Christmas season... always the best of times with our favorite people!
