Not even a full day Sunday could slow us down for Monday.
We were up and ready by 8 am for the park's opening at 9.
We got to the park early so we could be some of the first into California Adventure to get in line for the new Cars-Radiator Springs Racers ride (a 90+ min wait, otherwise)!
Jack came off of the Mater ride to find that Kate had a surprise up her sleeve.
Jack had been enamored by Captain Hook leading up to our trip.
Knowing this, Kate thoughtfully snuck away to get him his own hook.
As you will see...
It rarely left his sight the entire rest of the trip!
Finally-- we all got on Radiator Springs Racers!
We spent the rest of the morning in California Adventure...
and then headed to Disneyland for the afternoon/evening.
We were happy for a warm-up this day that even allowed to shed our jackets for a bit!
This is one of Jack's many sit-outs on rides he was too short for.
Kate was behind the genius that is this hat!
Everyone was so willing to help out with Jack when he couldn't ride something.
Luckily, he was happy with anything--and pretty oblivious to the fact that he was even missing anything.
We stayed later with the Griffins while my parents and the Ross' headed to dinner.
We had a great night...even though it cooled down a lot AND World of Color was cancelled.
Awww well.
Like with the entire trip... nothing got in our way of a good time!
