Jack got to dip his toes in baseball this year!
His age = Coach Pitch, so that's where we were at!
It was riveting play, with no outs...and a whole lot of turns to get a hit... but, fun to watch and educational for the little rats nonetheless!
Jack had a great coach, and they all learned a lot from the first game to the last!
Hitting was by far Jack's favorite part, and he's quite the little slugger.
He almost always crushes it- and even if they had played with rules- would rarely be out.
The outfield is a little harder to get the little tykes real excited about, but by the end of the season, Jack learned that Pitcher, Catcher, and 1st Base are the positions of action- so he always begged for those.
My favorite was watching his intensity, and cluelessness (at times) of the game. He'd run from third base to first to chase a ball... but kudos for trying buddy!! The rest of the team was picking dandelions, so I'll take overplaying any day!
Can't wait for machine pitch next year!
(Bottom Left...eyes closed, doh!)
