Christmas Outings

A few sprinklings of holiday activities that kept us busy in December this year...

Right out of the shoot, we headed up to Temple Square with the Jones fam that were still in town from Thanksgiving.

It was like 55 degrees... seriously unbelievable weather!

For one reason or another... the outing didn't last all that long... (coordinating big group activities is for the birds), but we sure gave our efforts in capturing a precious picture a valiant effort.

(Jack and Tuck shared a seat in the stroller... SUPER comfy I'm sure.)

Tucker!

Almost a perfect pic

Brett coaching Tuck on how to stand still:

Ok fine... we gave up.

And... that was Temple Square.

Putting up Christmas this year was pretty much the highlight of my kids' lives.  It knocked me right out of my Scroogeness because they were so darling about it.

All of December Jack was pretty hyped up on talking about his Darth Vader Lego Spaceship he was asking for and the Naughty Vs. "Great" Lists.
He probably told Tucker, Sam, everyone that they were going to be on the naughty list 1,000,000 times during the month of December.

Jack has never been so excited as he was about writing his letter to Santa.

He wrote the whole thing himself, and addressed the envelope.

He couldn't run that puppy out to the mailbox fast enough!

So fun to have kids this age on holidays!

We were also able to get festive towards the end of the month by going on the Winter Express Light Tour with the whole Wank fam!  Tucker really got into it, and was rather jolly with his elf headband.

These two brothers... look alike from the front... TWINS from the back.

Santa was waiting for us at the end of the tour... and my kids never got sick of seeing him throughout the season! This time Santa knew their names and everything!

He told Jack he was on the "great" list, and Jack was pretty stoked!

Kate, however, wasn't all that stoked that Santa gave her coal for being late.
