Beeties Walk, Batman, and Halloween on the Horizon

We had the awesome opportunity a couple of weeks ago to walk in the Step Out for Diabetes walk up in Salt Lake.  We were lucky to be a part of Team Hank...who not only had this awesome kid as our inspiration, but also raised the most money in the entire event!

I love Hank like he's mine.  I was so glad to be able to show an outward expression of our support and pride for him and our dedication and hope for finding a cure from this horrible disease.

He is an amazingly strong and brave boy, with 2 of the best parents I know.

...

Jack continues to love Batman.
He does, however, take a departure from his character every once in a while now.

This was a beautiful evening with our little family at Adventure and Learning park.
I will say...he definitely takes his role seriously.

...

Right now, things around our house are all things Halloween.
This began two weeks before October even came-- and I don't foresee it going away any time soon.
Jack LOVES Halloween with all of his little heart.
He loves anything scary.
Is obsessed with "cunpins".
Sings "This is Halloween" 990 times a day.
And has this new buddy....
(thanks to Grandma Jackie)
Meet Bones.

He drags this dang skeleton around all day long.
Sometimes Jack forgets he's fragile, and a few minor operations have been performed.
I'm happy to report...he's healed nicely each time!

Even quesadillas around this joint are in on the theme.

Shortly after Bones became part of our family, Mini-Bones made his debut as Bones' little brother.

A trip to the Halloween store proved to be a highlight of Jack's life up to this point.

Oh dear.... it's gonna be a long road to October 31st!
